Commercial Investment Real Estate Earns Industry Awards

CCIM Institute’s magazine and editorial team receive honors for publishing excellence.

The CCIM Institute’s bimonthly flagship publication, Commercial Investment Real Estate, and its Chicago-based editorial staff have been honored with five publishing industry awards.

Communications Concepts’ 2011 APEX, the 23rd Annual Awards for Publication Excellence, recognized the entire CIRE staff and its design partner, TMG Custom Media, with an Award of Excellence in the Design & Layout category for the magazine’s November/December 2010 issue.

APEX also honored CIRE’s Executive Editor Sara Drummond in the Financial & Investment Writing category for her article “Make It Rain,” which appeared in the September/October 2010 issue. Associate Editor Rich Rosfelder earned a Feature Writing award of excellence for his article, “Surviving Social Media,” which was published in the January/February 2011 issue.

Trade Association Business Publications International also recognized CIRE magazine and its staff with distinctions in the 2011 Tabbie Awards. CIRE’s September/October 2010 issue received an Honorable Mention as one of the Top 25 Best Single Issues, and Rich Rosfelder earned an Honorable Mention as one of the Top 25 Best Feature Articles for his September/October 2010 cover story “Running on Empty.”
